Stay and Experience

Welcome to the Wild West! Arizona is a beautiful state known for its stunning canyons, bright colors, and breathtaking sunsets. If you’re looking for an unforgettable outdoor experience, then you’ve come to the right place!

Our ranch is not open to the public.

Our vision is to create a place where spiritual leaders and pastors can come to RELATE, REFRESH, and RESTORE.

One of our passions and areas we serve is Romans 12 Ministries. As a founding elder of the ministry, we are focused on serving pastors who often support others but are alone in many of life’s struggles.

Staying in Flux Canyon is a unique and exciting way to immerse yourself in the beauty of the West. With towering rock formations, 300-year-old oak trees, and endless skies, the canyons surrounding Patagonia Arizona provide a true escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. Whether you’re an avid hiker or simply seeking a peaceful getaway, there’s something for everyone in these magnificent natural wonders.

The oak trees in Flux Canyon are another magnificent aspect of this beautiful site. With their sprawling branches and evergreen leaves, they provide a perfect backdrop for your outdoor adventures. Whether you’re picnicking under their shade or simply admiring their beauty, these trees are a true symbol of the wild west.

And last but certainly not least, the sunsets in Arizona are truly breathtaking. As the sun dips below the horizon, the sky is painted with brilliant hues of orange, pink, and red, creating a once-in-a-lifetime spectacle. Whether you’re watching from the top of a canyon or simply standing in a field, these sunsets are a must-see for anyone visiting the area.So pack your bags, grab your gear, and get ready to experience the West like never before. We guarantee you won’t regret it!

Relate, Refresh, and Restore - R12

Our vision for the ranch is to create a sanctuary for people to recharge.

What Romans 12 Does:

Being a pastor or a ministry leader is a lonely profession. You often hold the weight of everyone you serve on your shoulders. But if you are struggling – in your marriage, with your children, with your finances, or with your faith –

Who is there to guide pastors through those rough patches?

Who can passers trust to confidently hold those struggles and walk them through these difficult times?

Who will hold up the pastor’s arms when you are tired?

Romans 12 is a  Christ-centered ministry allocating resources to the men and women who are fulfilling the Great Commission to spread the Gospel, working with them to reach their full potential to love God and serve others.

Fear of judgment, failure, and job security can force leaders to struggle silently. R12 services are completely confidential.  The support provided keeps pastors, ministry leaders, and their families in their positions of service to strengthen the body of believers.

Joe Higgins has served as an elder with Romans 12 since its inception.  One day, we hope to open our ranch to those on the front line of serving their community. We encourage you to support our mission

Built in 1898 by the founder of the town, Rollin R. Richardson, The Duquesne (pronounced Du-cane) Bunkhouse, as it was known, was originally an adobe boarding house for miners working in the Patagonia Mountains.

Over the decades that followed, it passed through the hands of several local families until it was lovingly renovated beginning in the 1970s.

In 2015 we became the proud owners and caretakers of this historic Patagonia landmark. In honor of the deep roots the building has here and the amazing gardens on the property, we now call it The Duquesne House Inn & Gardens. Learn More HERE.
